This Week Ocean Inlet Park

 Hi Sketchers! 

What a great turn out last week for our 2nd anniversary.  We sketched at Mounts Botanical Garden.  Even in the oppressive heat we had 21 sketchers turn up and 15 still onsite for the throwdown.  There should be a medal for you guys who come out to sketch in the Florida Summer.  The next two outings are outdoors.  This week we'll be by the ocean so it should be a bit better.  The following week we end up with a bbq at my house.  The rest of the summer after that will be all indoor events.  Kick your ideas over to me if you have any.  I'm thinking up some different stuff.

This Sunday we will be at Ocean Inlet Park In Boynton Beach / Ocean Ridge.  off of A1A.  There will be plenty of options and some shady spots.  Here's a view of one of my favorite things to sketch there at the entrance to Boynton Inlet.

The next 4 weeks events for Palm Beach Urban Sketchers. All are Sundays with 10:30 start times.

6/18 the Square ( formerly City place).

6/25 Mounts Botanical Garden.

7/2 Ocean Inlet Park (Ocean Ridge).

7/9 exploring Lake Worth (4 Corners sessions) N L st and 18th N. Followed by a bbq and swim at Carl’s house. Bring a dish to pass. I’ll provide burgers and hots.

This will be the first of several meetups where we sketch houses and cottages in Lake Worth. I'll preselect spots with several different options nearby.
