Sketch Meetups 8/27 and 8/28 !

We have two more chances to meet up for sketching this week!

Friday 8/27 9am

Via Mizner

We could not stop at just one Via when there are so many charming ones off of Worth Ave to chose from. Join us Friday Morning for Sketching at Via Mizner. We will meet up at 9am on Worth Ave at the entrance to Via Mizner. The address is 337–339 Worth Avenue Palm Beach.

We are in the steamiest part of summer so make sure you bring a hat, plenty of water and possibly a folding chair.

Saturday 8/28 10am

Norton Museum

Saturday Anne and Anna Maria will lead the sketchers at the Norton Museum at 10 am. The Norton requires people to register (even though museum is free this Saturday) ahead of time on their website for social distancing protocols. go to https://www.norton.org to reserve your admission. Just a note entrance is currently by a time slot to control the number of guests in the museum for safety protocols always obey the guards and docents if asked to move along. The Museum is located at 1450 S Dixie Highway in West Palm.

Next up the Gardens at the Society of the Four Arts!

 

Friday 8/20 we will be having a sketch meetup at the garden at the Society of the Four Arts on Palm Beach.  We will be meeting up at 10 am (note the different time as that is when the garden opens) the address is 100 Four Arts Plaza off of Royal Palm Way on Palm Beach.  There are lots of great sketching spots in the botanical and sculpture gardens.  There are some handy benches to sit on and sketch from.  Please remember to bring water and wear a hat and sunscreen.  It is Summer in South Florida after all.

Two more sketch meetups this week

two new sketch meetups this week!

Friday 8/13 9am Lake Avenue in Lake Worth between J street and Dixie meetup on North East Corner of J st and Lake Ave. There are several great storefronts and examples of art deco buildings.

Make sure you bring water and wear a hat it gets hot out there. Afterwards we will go to Common Grounds for a coffee.

Sunday 8/15 2:00pm at Rudy's Pub to sketch pickers in the round.

What could be better sketching musicians and having air conditioning.

Bring your sketchbooks and pencils (or sketching medium of choice) enjoy good music, maybe a beer and have some fun sketching.

As always anyone interested in sketching is welcome to join us.

Two meet ups 8/6 and 8/8

There will be two opportunities for you to sketch with the sketchers this week.

Friday 8/6 6:30 PM at the beach meet up in front of Benny's We sketched at the beach last Friday and the cooler temps and covered area made it a very pleasant spot.

Sunday 8/8 2:00pm at Rudy's Pub to sketch pickers in the round. What could be better sketching musicians and having air conditioning.
